Certifications and Memberships
Before choosing any auto service technician it is important to know if they are qualified to service your vehicle. One sure way of assessing a shop's qualifications and credibility is by reviewing their credentials. Central Garage is certified by several prominent organizations and has obtained superior recommendations.

ASE Certification
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is an independent, nonprofit organization that conducts the only industy-wide, national certification program for automotive technicians. ASE certifies competency of individual technicians through a series of standardized specialty exams and requires a minimum of two years experience either on the job or in a trade school. Mike Wallace, co-owner and Chief Technician of Central Garage, has 30 years experience and is an ASE Certified Master Technician. Kathy Wallace is an ASE Certified Service Consultant.

ACDelco Service Specialist
ACDelco sponsors independent service centers throughout the country. All ACDelco Service Specialists are qualified and staffed by at least one ASE-certified repair technician. Technicians are required to actively participate in ACDelco's ongoing training program at one of 28 training centers throughout the United States. The centers are staffed with experienced instructors, and have state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that the technicians who work on your vehicle are the best in the business.

Better Business Bureau Membership
The Better Business Bureau was founded in 1912 and is today supported by 250,000 local business members nationwide. It is dedicated to fostering fair and honest relationships between businesses and consumers, instilling consumer confidence, and contributing to an ethical business environment.

Jasper Engines & Transmissions Preferred Installer
Jasper Engines & Transmissions is a high quality re-manufacturer of engines, transmissions, differentials, etc. They offer a three-year or 75,000 mile parts and labor warranty on most of their products which is honored nationwide. For example, if you have a Jasper engine installed in California and have problems with it in Columbus, OH, Central Garage is one of only a few shops in the area to which you would be referred by Jasper's telephone service center.

Mobil Air Conditioning Society Worldwide Certification
The Mobil Air Conditioning Society Worldwide (MACS) was founded in 1981 It's purpose is to fill the industry’s need for comprehensive technical information, training and communication. All technicians opening the refrigeration circuit in automotive air conditioning systems must now be certified in refrigerant recovery and recycling procedures to be in compliance with Section 609 of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. The MACS Worldwide program has been approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is designed to encourage proper equipment use and service procedures.
